Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Tenders

I saw this recipe for Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders on the wholesomeyum.com website and it looks pretty easy to make so I wanted to give it a try. Any recipe that looks good and is also easy to make is something I’m interested in.

This recipe is certainly easy to make because it only has three ingredients. You’ll need some boneless, skinless chicken breasts, bacon, and cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
8 slices of bacon
4 slices of cheddar cheese (cut in half)

Directions

1. Fill a large bowl with warm water and 2 tablespoons of sea salt.
2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips and put them in the salt water to brine for at least 10 min.
3. Remove the chicken from the salt water and pat dry.
4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C)
5. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper
6. Put a piece of cheese over each piece of chicken. Then, wrap the chicken and cheese with a slice of bacon. Place the chicken tender on your baking sheet with the cheese side facing up. Repeat this until you have used all of the chicken, cheese, and bacon.
7. Bake for about 13 to 16 min. place under the broiler for a few minutes to make the bacon crispy.
